Booking Policy
Restaurant Booking & Arrival Policy
At The White Hart, we strive to offer all our guests the best possible dining experience —
including quality service and freshly prepared food, delivered in a timely and relaxed
atmosphere. To ensure fairness to all diners and to support our kitchen and service teams,
we kindly ask that all guests observe the following booking and arrival guidelines.
Booking Arrival Time
• We ask all guests to arrive on time for their booking to help us maintain a smooth service
for everyone.
• A 10-minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals. After this, we may not be able to
seat your party immediately.
What Happens If You’re More Than 10 Minutes Late
• If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your table may be delayed until the next available
gap in service.
• This policy ensures we do not unfairly impact other diners or overload our kitchen and
front-of-house staff during busy periods.
• Please understand this is in place to protect the quality of food, service, and atmosphere
for all our guests — including you!
Let Us Know If You’re Running Late
• If you believe you’ll be late, please call us as soon as possible so we can try to
accommodate you more flexibly.
• While we will always do our best, we cannot guarantee your table will be held beyond 10
minutes during peak times.
No-Shows and Last-Minute Cancellations
• We reserve the right to release tables if we haven’t heard from you within 10 minutes of
your reservation time.
• Repeat no-shows or excessive lateness may result in future booking restrictions.
Our Goal
This policy isn’t about being strict — it’s about being fair. It helps our team run a calm and
efficient service, ensures your food is served fresh and on time, and that everyone dining
with us — including you — has the best experience possible.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
